Re-divide and conquer

Just chatted with Steve on the farm about finishing up some field work on our largest field (34ha), TSB. The last crop using the whole field was potatoes. Now, there are three 5ha plots for crops surrounded by features for wildlife and beneficial predators.

TSB now has flower rich plots, wild bird seed mix, cultivated margins and beetle banks around crops. Beetle banks follow roughly the original field boundaries, re-dividing the field. From one field back to three, with four or five different crops/habitats. #NatureFriendlyFarming
